  • Winter lasts from October to mid-February. Summer is typically between April and May, with temperatures reaching up to 40 °C.
  • July and August are the wettest months of the monsoon season. The rain lasts longer in the south.

  • Shoulders and knees must always be covered, and heads must be covered in Sikh gurdwaras.
  • Women are required to cover their heads in mosques and some temples.

  • Don’t touch food when you pass it to someone.
