    DAY 1: FLY TO DELHI

    Fly from your home country to Delhi.

    DAY 2: ARRIVE IN DELHI

    We’ll meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel. Rest or take an optional walk to explore Delhi – a city where ancient temples, mosques, and modern life sit side by side.

    As Sufi poet Mirza Ghalib once said: “I asked my soul: What is Delhi? She replied: The world is the body, and Delhi its soul.”

    This city is an ideal starting point for a spiritual tour of India.

    DAY 3: DELHI SIGHTSEEING

    Guided tour of Old Delhi with a walk in the famous Kinari Bazaar in Chandani Chowk, visting Jain and Hindu temples, Sikh Gurdwaras, and Jama Masjid, the largest mosque in India.

    Stop at Shri Gobind Sadan, an interfaith community promoting harmony between religions.

    Visit the Lotus Temple, a serene white marble site of the Baha’i faith that is open to people of all religions.

    DAY 4: DELHI SIGHTSEEING & TRAIN TO AMRITSAR

    Morning visit of Humayun’s Tomb, a Mughal Masterpiece and early inspiration for the Taj Mahal, visit the sunken museum which showcases the life and times of Humayun. Later visit the Sufi Shrine of Nizamduddin Aulivya known for its devotional Qawali music and spiritual atmosphere.

    Afternoon transfer to the hotel.

    Golden Temple, Amritsar

    DAY 5: AMRITSAR SIGHTSEEING

    Early morning visit to the Golden Temple, the most sacred site in Sikhism.

    Join the Langar – the temple’s free community meal serving thousands daily.

    Afternoon visit to Jallianwala Bagh, site of the tragic 1919 massacre, followed by the dramatic Wagah Border ceremony between India and Pakistan.

    DAY 6: AN EXCURSION TO TARN TARAN AND GOINDWAL AND TRAIN TO MATHURA

    Excursion to Tarn Taran Sahib, known for its sacred pool and large Gurdwara.

    Continue to Goindwal Sahib, an important pilgrimage site for Sikhs.

    Evening transfer to board the Golden Temple Mail overnight train (1st class sleeper) to Mathura.

    Keshi Ghat Krishna Temple, Vrindavan

    DAY 7: VISIT TO GOKUL AND GOVARDHAN

    Arrive in Mathura in the morning. Transfer to Sarovar Portico Hotel.

    Later visit Gokul, where Lord Krishna spent his early years.

    Continue to Govardhan Hill, a sacred site for Hindu pilgrims.

    Optional: Join pilgrims on the 21km 'parikrama' walk (or part of it) around the hill.

    DAY 8: DRIVE TO BHARATPUR

    Drive to Bharatpur’s Keoladeo National Park, a peaceful retreat and UNESCO World Heritage Site with over 300 bird species.

    DAY 9: TO AGRA VIA FATEHPUR SIKRI

    En route to Agra, visit Fatehpur Sikri, an abandoned Mughal capital and site of early interfaith debates.

    In Agra, visit the Taj Mahal, one of the most iconic monuments in the world.

    This UNESCO World Heritage Site is a symbol of love and devotion, and a must-see on any cultural tour of India.

    Also visit Agra Fort and the Baby Taj (Itimad-ud-Daulah Tomb).

    Main Ghat, Varanasi

    DAY 10: SUNRISE TAJ MAHAL VISIT & OVERNIGHT TRAIN TO VARANASI

    Early sunrise visit to the Taj Mahal, when light and atmosphere are at their most magical.

    Free time in Agra, then overnight train Magadh Express (first class) to Varanasi. Departs 23:25.

    DAY 11: SARNATH VISIT & EVENING ARATI CEREMONY AT RIVER GANGES

    Arrival in Varanasi around 07:25. Afternoon visit to Sarnath, where the Buddha gave his first sermon.

    Evening drive to the Ganges Ghats for the aarti – a spiritual ceremony of fire and prayer on the riverbanks.
