Dear Yasin,
I just wanted to take this opportunity to give you some feedback from our recent trip to Delhi.I enjoyed EVERY MOMENT!!! Friends have asked me what are my highlights and I can’t single anything out as the whole trip was brilliant. Pamela (of course) was brilliant for the whole time and liaised with everyone for us. Everyone was so helpful, kind and friendly. I can’t remember everyone’s names and probably won’t spell them correctly anyway, but I’ll try!
- The flights and transfers worked out well – thank you.
- The lovely gentleman (Nishan) who met us at Delhi airport and escorted us to the taxi was a delight. He also escorted us for the return journey and when we took the train to Agra. He couldn’t have done more for us.
- Our main driver for the majority of the week was Rakesh, who was polite, helpful and an excellent driver.
- Our main Indian tour guide for the week was brilliant telling us local and historical information. We visited a local cooperative and were able to see how rugs were woven and inlay was made to make table top and other artifacts.
- I loved visiting New and Old Delhi, especially the markets and travelling on a tuk-tuk.
- The visit to Ghandi’s tomb, where he stayed and ultimately where he was assassinated was a great visit and very moving. The guide also arranged to take us to a local tailor where we had some clothes made.
- Pamela escorted us to a sari market one late afternoon – what an experience that was and I bought lots of bargains! I shall be using the material to make some clothes.
- The train ride to Agra was wonderful – what an experience! Again, I loved every minute. Of course, the Taj Mahal was everything that I expected and more. The driver we had in Agra was so kind. My sister wasn’t feeling too well and needed to remain in the car whilst we visited the Agra Fort. He looked after her and she really appreciated it. The guide we had in Agra was very knowledgeable and escorted us well.

- I really loved the visit to the National Modern Art Gallery and we spent a lot longer than planned there. The tour guide that we had for this was helpful.
- Then there was the cookery class. This was a brilliant late afternoon and early evening. I learnt so much! The teacher was brilliant and the recipes that she shared with us are going to be VERY helpful indeed, now that we’re home. She took many photos and videos of us cooking and kindly sent them to us that evening! Very efficient indeed.
As you can gather, I can go on, and on as I had such a wonderful time. I have so many happy memories, which I’m enjoying sharing with friends and family alike. I’m sure that I have missed a few things, but I’ve said to Pamela that I would be interested in travelling to India again (perhaps in 2026) and she’s told me that she knows which visit would be good for me (probably the one with the visit to Shimla). So, I’ve left this thought with her and she will advise me.
So, thank you again for all of your arranging. I will certainly recommend your company to others and actually, already have.
Kind regards,
Heather
